The effect of planets in the twelve houses
First house
Sun : – According to JATAKA PARIJATA if the Sun is in the first house, the number of sons is limited, the native is hard-hearted but leads a comfortable life; he eats little and suffers from eye diseases. And according to PHALA DEEPIKA, the sun in the first house declines to boldness.
Moon :- If wanning Moon on the 14th and the 15th of the dark fortnight occupies the forst house, the native suffers from some defective limb or is deaf and dull; if such a Moon be conjoined with a malefic he does not livelong and works in an inferior position.
Mars : – The native is courageous, cruel, very active and fond of travelling, his health is not so good. He may get hurt in the head. Even in old age he appears young. Mars gives very good results if in Aries, Leo, Scorpio, Sagittarius or Capricorn in the first house.
Mercury :- The native is learned, wealthy, religious and virtuous. He is intelligent and active. Mercury herein would particularly show very good results if in gemini or Virgo.
Jupiter :- The native is wise and learned. He is long lived and leads prosperous life. he has a very pleasing appearance. Jupiter would show very good results if in Cancer, Sagittarius and pisces.
Venus :- The native has a pleasing personality; is very sexy and well-versed in amorous arts, he leads a comfortable life. The native is learned and fortunate in respect of wife and children. Venus herein would show particularly good results if in taurus, libra or pisces.
Saturn :- He is firm, pushing, wise and occupies a kingly position. Even in Capricorn or Aquarius Saturn bestows very good effects. The native rises high in life.

Mercury :- Earn money by hint of his intelligence and trading capacity is well mannered and a gentleman . he is wealthy.
Jupiter :- Very agreeable, weet speech eloquent as well as learned gets good and rich food very rich but liberal in the spending.
Venus :- Learned well up in amorous arts and enjoys life very rich and his speech is endearing.
Saturn :- Unless saturn is in his own sign or in exaltation or well aspected the native is not able to accumulate much wealth. There may be diseases of the mouth or eyes and he may have to pay financial panalty to the government.
Rahu :- He is quarrelsome deceptive in speech and a part of his wealth may be lost by theft or due to unwise investment.
