MahagauriMahagauri – The Maha gauri devi is the one goddess out of the nine goddess. In this form the Maha gauri Durga devi is a white skin and dressup with white ornaments and she has four-armed rides on a bull. She holds a trishool and damaru like (small hand-drum), one hand is in blessing posture and one hand is fearless mudra or posture. She is completely calm and peacefull position and a form of mata Parvati did penance to get as a husband of lord Shiva . Purity is depicted in this form of Durga. Mahagauri form of Durga is worshipped on the eighth day of Navratri or Navdurga puja i.e.ashwin shukla ashtami.
