Rakshasa refers to the malefic demons and asuras or the enemies of God indulging in Rakshashviolent and evil practices and activities . Rakshasas are said to have been created by the Prajapatis with their clower breaths’ . Vedic history cites innumerous instances where gods and good mortals have been tormented by the Rakshasas and in some cases, god has incarnated himself in some or the other form to destroy these demonic creatures .
