He has four hands, the head of an elephant and only one tusk . In one hand he holds a shell, in another a discus, a club in the third and a water lily in the fourth . He is shown as riding on a rat . He is said to possess a third eye like his parents . But unlike them, it is not there to display anger . On the contrary, it is a symbol of his wisdom . He is also a
dancer, and his dancing is joyous and not destructive .
