Madhva sampradaya
Its founder was madhavachrya bron in 1200 A D. He was a great opponent of shankaracharya’s advaita system of philosophy. He had erected and consecrated an image of Lord Krishna at Udipi . The followers of this sect worship Lord Krishna . They put a great emphasis on following truthfulness, study of scriptures, kindness, faith in god and freedom from envy,. They practise virtue in thought, word and deed.
