There are many kinds of yogas useful for purification of the aspirants or Yogi. But the different yogas cannot be separated in the water tight compartments. So a harmonious combination of all the yogas is necessary for the easy and fastest awakening of the kundalini. It is agreeable by all that before awakening the kundalini the aspirants should purify their physical body, nadis, Mind and Intellect. Otherwise the aspirant may face some uncontrollable problems beyond the understanding and cure by the medical doctors. The purification of physical body by an aspirant can be achieved by the following six yogic exercises. Dhauti kriya : Dhauti kriya is divided in three types as given below :
a. by a muslin cloth : it is done with the help a 3” wide and 15’ long clean hygienic muslin cloth free from germs & bacterias. The yogi swallows he cloth slowly and takes it out slowly. Both the food pipe and the stomach are being well cleaned by this kriya, the muslin cloth is being well washed with soap after the kriya.
b. kunjal kriya : Drink a large quantity of pure water at normal temperature when the stomach is empty in the morning. Retain it comfortably for some time. Contract the stomach and vomit the water out completely. This kriya cleans the stomach: improve the digestion and removes acidity.

Basti kriya : Jal (water) – basti or Anima kriya: Instead of actual Jal- basti done by the yogis, I would suggest the alternative comfortable anima kriya, which is easy and less time consuming. The naturopathy doctors also frequently use it. Take nearly one kg of luke warn pure water in the anima post easily available with the chemists. Put a small quantity of common salt or limejuice into it. The anima kriya cleans the deposits and worms etc inside the anus, large and small intestine of the man. The digestive system is improved and so many diseases connected with the digestive system are cured.
Jal –Neti kriya (cleaning nostrils and throat with water) : In Jal Neti kriya the nostrils and throat are cleaned with luke warm saline water. The jal (water) – Net kriya is very easy and very useful. Jal-Neti dose not require any specialized training. A special type of water-pot like small tea- cattle is used for Jal-Nati kriya.
Nauli kriya : kunja kriya, jalneti kriya, jalneti, kunjal , This kriya is intended for regenerating, invigorating and stimulating the abdominal viscera and the gastro- intestinal system. For nauli the practice of uddiyana Bandha is needed. Nauli is generally done in the standing position with empty stomach.
a. First stand up with your legs apart. Rest your hands downwards on your thighs. Forcibly exhale your breath out through your mouth so that your stomach is completely empty of air.
b. Forcibly contract the stomach and the abdominal muscles so that the wall of the stomach is stretched backwards. This is known as Uddiyana Bandha the first stage of Nauli.
c. Now try to contract the muscles of your stomach in the center, or at right or at left side and try to rotate the abdominal muscles. Do this practice slowly and progressively. You will learn it within few weeks. Beginners may feel it little difficult with slight pain in the initial practice. Do not be afraid of this practice. The liver and pancreas are toned up by this practice.
