Distant pranic Healing (Reiki)
The Siddha advanced yogis or Sadhak can cure or treatment any others person disease from a distance or other place like other city is called distant pranic healing or Reiki. It is not necessary that the yogi and the patient should be in close bodily contact. But the patient must have a firm faith and a positive attitude both in the power of healing by life-energy and the yogi who is doing it.
The yogi should inform the patient to sit comfortably and close his eyes at a particular time on a particular date. The patient should also imagine that he is receiving the pranic-energy from the yogi, to cure his diseased organ at that particular time. The yogi should do his kumbhak pranayama (retention of breathing ) at the right appointed time.
The yogi should mentally direct the pranic-energy, to transmit it to the patient through the space. He should imagine that the energy is penetrating in the diseased organ of the patient. Yogi may recharge himself again & again with pranic-energy through hiranyagarbha which travels like the radar or laser waves in the space. For any kind of waves, there must be a transmitter and receiver. Here the teransmitter is yogi and the receiver is patient. Similar is the parnic healing practice.
