Vallabha Sampradaya

This was founded by vallabha (1479 A D-1531), who is regarded as an incarnation of Krishna. He identifies Krishna with the absolute and maintain that the universe is not an illusion , but real hear the main focus of devotion is imagining Krishna as achild and the devotee as the parent. Hence, they worship Krishna as balagopala. This sect has a large following in states in western and central india, like Maharashtra, Gujarat, rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. There is  a famous temple at nathdwara in rajasthan for this sect.
